This past weekend we styled one of my absolute favourite dessert tables. Not only myself and Jen (our Party Stylist) were 'ooo-ing' and 'ahh-ing', but so was our client as we put it all together. It's times like these that I feel so grateful for not only my amazing job, but for meeting new people and being a small part of their big celebrations.
We used a base palette of white ,greenery and wood to choose all the pieces of decor for this Mama-to-be's baby shower. It suited this gorgeous home in Komoka (those floors!).
Included is an all white balloon garland (approx 50 balloons), extra large white balloons anchoring the ends of the table, greenery backdrop, barn board runner and all white linen covered table.
The real focal point was this gorgeous naked cake from Signature Cakes, by Angela. She seriously creates cakes unlike no other. And our client said the cake tasted even better than it looked.
To bring the French/Parisian feel to the table we included fresh cheese boards (brie, gouda, goats cheese, all the favs), grapes, berries, baguettes, macarons, beignets and of course... croissants (but chocolate filled because.. obviously!).
Super sweet 'baby' embossed sugar cookies from Sara's Sweet Tooth. We wanted to make sure that there was a little subtle baby shower touch to the desserts, and she nailed it.
Our greenery swag (front of table) and babies breath from Lovebird Flowers (thanks Lisa!). Additionally, there was a matching greenery crown for the Mama-to-be.
Side note- the bard board runner is almost 150 years old! This was a lucky find from my husband's co-worker, out in the country (a collapsed barn). I love how it looks on this table.
Our client, Candice, had these succulents as take-home favors for the guests, beautiful right?
Congratulations to Melissa and thanks to Candice for allowing us to be a part of this beautiful baby shower!
