Glam Pony Birthday Party

For whatever reason in life some people you just click with, don't you find? Whether it's your joint sense of humour, current life situation or love of coffee - some meetings just resonate and that's how I feel about this lovely family! We just clicked.

Their little girl was turning TWO and they wanted to have a party as sweet as she, a tough goal to achieve because this girl is so SWEET she gives hugs within the first five minutes (love that!).

Of course we chose a palette of pink and gold for this cutie. Included in the dessert table was cotton candy cones, gf donuts, marshmallow pops, pb + jelly macarons, pony shaped sugar cookies and a vanilla sprinkle drip cake.

I might be a bit biased, but this balloon garland is one of my favourites.

We accented the table with bubble favors for the kids, gorgeous hot pink and soft pink roses and clear personalized balloons...

Customized labels from Paaper Studio for each treat.

And... they even had a real pony come and it was the sweetest thing.. EVER. It was rainy that day but the sun came out just in time for a few pony rides around the backyard. Luckily I got to see all the pony-ride-smiles from some IG videos posted that day!

The cake sort of stole the show, and rightfully so. It was gorgeous, with a perfectly peach drip. We were kinda salivating just LOOKING at it!

We wanted a pony topper for this cake but the colours just weren't right from online - so we painted this one ourselves and loved how it turned out.

Thanks for checking out today's blog, and as always - would love to hear from you!
